Lexus ES tire pressure

The cold tire pressures Lexus prints in its owner's manuals for each ES tire size, by generation — ES (7th gen, XZ10) (2019–2025) and ES (6th gen, XV60) (2013–2018). Find your tire size on the sidewall, then read across.

Notes from the owner's manuals
  • P215/55R17 93V: Read from an existing archived copy of the maker's manual, so marked reported.
  • P225/45R18 91V: Read from an existing archived copy of the maker's manual, so marked reported.
What the owner's manuals don't say
  • Only the 2016 ES350 and ES300h manuals were read (archived copies); 2013–2015 and 2017–2018 not read

Figures marked "Owner's manual" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the manual prints. Nothing here has been checked against your vehicle: if it disagrees with the placard on the door jamb, the placard wins.

Tire pressure questions

What should the tire pressure be on a Lexus ES?

It depends on the tire size. For the sizes Lexus lists, the cold pressure is 33–36 psi at the front and 33–36 psi at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tires cold.

What size tires does a Lexus ES take?

Lexus fitted the ES with 215/55 R17, 225/45 R18, 235/45 R18 and 235/40 R19, depending on the model year and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tire; the pressures above are listed by size.

Where is the tire pressure placard on a Lexus ES?

On the driver's door jamb — the Tire and Loading Information placard. It gives the same cold pressures as the owner's manual, which is where the figures on this page come from; if the two ever disagree, go by the placard on your vehicle.
