Does my Infiniti have a timing belt or a timing chain?▾

Every one of the 18 Infiniti gasoline and diesel engines we hold uses a timing chain, so there is no scheduled timing belt replacement. A chain is meant to last the life of the engine, but a rattle on a cold start is worth having looked at.

How do I check a used Infiniti was serviced on schedule?▾

We don't sell US dealer service records for Infiniti. Ask the seller for the receipts and the maintenance booklet, and for a Infiniti dealer's printout of the work done under the car's VIN.
