Toyota tire pressures
Toyota Camry tire pressure
The cold tire pressures Toyota prints in its owner's manuals for each Camry tire size, by generation — Camry (9th gen, XV80) (2025 on), Camry (8th gen, XV70) (2018–2024) and Camry (7th gen, XV50) (2012–2017). Find your tire size on the sidewall, then read across.

Notes from the owner's manuals
- 205/65R16 95H: Toyota prints several 'types' with different pressures and does not say how to tell which one a car has — the Tire and Loading Information label on the driver's door pillar shows the figure for that car.
- 205/65R16 95H: Same size as Type A at a higher pressure. Toyota prints several 'types' with different pressures and does not say how to tell which one a car has — the Tire and Loading Information label on the driver's door pillar shows the figure for that car.
- 235/40R19 92V: Types D and E differ only in wheel width.
What the owner's manuals don't say
- Only the 2025 Camry HV manual was read (every 2025 Camry is a hybrid)

Figures marked "Owner's manual" link to the maker's own document. "Reported" figures are the maker's, read from a copy we could not get from the maker directly. A figure marked ≈ has been converted from the unit the manual prints. Nothing here has been checked against your vehicle: if it disagrees with the placard on the door jamb, the placard wins.

Tire pressure questions
What should the tire pressure be on a Toyota Camry?
It depends on the tire size. For the sizes Toyota lists, the cold pressure is 33–38 psi at the front and 33–38 psi at the rear. Find your size in the tables above, and check the tires cold.
What size tires does a Toyota Camry take?
Toyota fitted the Camry with 205/65 R16, 215/55 R17, 225/45 R18, 235/45 R18 and 235/40 R19, depending on the model year and trim. The size is printed on the side of your tire; the pressures above are listed by size.
Where is the tire pressure placard on a Toyota Camry?
On the driver's door jamb — the Tire and Loading Information placard. It gives the same cold pressures as the owner's manual, which is where the figures on this page come from; if the two ever disagree, go by the placard on your vehicle.
