Service Records Checker
Service records checker for US cars
One VIN, one report: the service visits the manufacturer's dealer network logged for the car, with dates, mileage and the work performed. Built for buyers checking a seller's story and sellers proving theirs.
Find Your Car's Service History Online
Look up a car's dealer service records using the manufacturer's own dealership system. Enter the VIN to see every franchised dealer service on file — dates, mileage, and the work performed.
Full dealer records for BMW and MINI — warranty and recall records for Porsche, and workshop remarks for Jeep. Your card is authorized but not charged unless we find records.
What does a service records checker actually check?
What a good record looks like
Visits at roughly the manufacturer's interval, mileage rising steadily between them, and work that matches the schedule — oil and filters at every visit, brake fluid and coolant at the longer ones. A record that stops early, jumps in mileage or shows long gaps is not necessarily a problem, but it is a question to put to the seller before you pay.
Odometer readings you did not get from the seller
Every dealer visit records the odometer. Laid out in order, those readings are an independent check on the figure in the listing: a car advertised at 40,000 miles whose last dealer visit two years ago read 55,000 is telling you something. The readings come from the dealer system, not from the seller.

Supported Brands
Manufacturer Records
We access service records directly from the manufacturers' dealership systems. In the United States that currently means BMW and MINI in full, with warranty and recall records for Porsche and workshop remarks for Jeep — if a make isn't listed, we don't hold its records here yet.
Full Service History
(2)Complete service records from manufacturer dealership systems, including service dates, mileage, work performed, and service provider details. Suitable for consumer reports and remarketing.
Workshop Remarks
(1)Workshop remarks including recalls and warranty work. Where workshop remarks align with service schedules, this strongly indicates a service was carried out.
Limited Coverage
(1)Data is returned in a minimal proportion of cases. Results depend on individual vehicle records and manufacturer system availability.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the checker free?
The check costs $14.99 and your card is only charged if records are returned. A VIN with nothing on file costs nothing — the authorization is released.
How quickly do I get the report?
Usually within a few minutes. The report arrives by email with a link you can share with a buyer or seller, and it can be downloaded as a PDF.
Is this a vehicle history report?
No. A vehicle history report covers title, liens, accidents and odometer branding from state and insurance records. We return something those reports leave out: the manufacturer's own dealership service records — each service visit the dealer network logged against the VIN, with the date, mileage and work performed. Use both; they answer different questions.
Which makes are covered in the United States?
We hold full dealership service records for BMW and Mini; warranty and recall records for Porsche; and workshop remarks for Jeep. Other makes are not covered yet, and the check tells you so before you pay.
What does a report cost?
$14.99. Your card is authorized at checkout but only charged if we actually find records for the vehicle. If nothing is on file, the authorization is released and you pay nothing.
Where do I find the VIN?
The VIN is a 17-character code. It is on the plate at the base of the windshield on the driver's side, on the sticker inside the driver's door jamb, on the vehicle's title and registration card, and on the insurance ID card.
Does the state the car is registered in matter?
No. Manufacturer service records are stored against the VIN in the manufacturer's national dealer system, not against a state registration, so a car serviced in Texas and now registered in Florida keeps its history.
